Puffin in Flight
Whilst not the most graceful bird in flight, what they lack in style they make up for in enthusiasm! Their short wings can propel them through the air at quite a speed, with their wings beating up to four hundred times a minute. The wings also provide propulsion underwater, with diving puffins being seen to stay underwater for up to a minute.
