Outstared
Who doesn't have the heart to like Puffins? Colourful and entertaining in one – especially when flapping their wings furiously fast when airborne.
This Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) was ducking and bobbing up and down on the cliffsides on the Farne Islands, when it stopped and stared at me for the briefest of seconds. It was just enough to get a single image as the head was turning.
