This image is looking over the River Thames as it nears high water, just along from the reconstructed Globe Theatre. Although well into a dark winter evening, the Thames is still busy with boats ferrying to and fro along this stretch of water.
Amongst all of the hubbub and bustle of the city, the distintive domed St. Paul's Cathedral still rises above the neighbouring buildings. Longer exposures, such as this one, enables me to slow down and watch the world go by – appearing only as a blips or light-trails on the finished photograph.
