The River Deben is a beautiful area of Suffolk, both on the water and by the riverside. These muddy banks provide a feeding ground for a variety of wading birds.
It was into the middle of one of these banks that I carefully hopped from rock to rock so I could get this panorama. Balanced on one of these small rocks, I peered through the camera to carefully compose the image.
After taking several images to put together to create the finished panorama, I congratulated myself on not getting too muddy… but I spoke too soon...
