Canada Geese over the Niagara Falls

The magnificent Niagara Falls are just incredible. The sheer size and noise of the water crashing down is a sight in itself, whether viewed from the base of the falls or above from a great height.

I was lucky enough to be taking in the view when I caught a flock of Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) out of the corner of my eye. Quickly switching to a telephoto lens, I followed the geese along their route with the camera hoping that it would take them over the Horseshoe Falls. Luckily for me, it did.

I’m sure if I visited the same place time and time again, I would never come across the same ideal composition.
