I don’t get over jetlag easily – whichever way round the globe I travel. It was after a flight back from Australia during the (northern hemisphere's) summer that I found myself wide awake at an extremely early hour of the morning. Deciding that it was useless trying to get back to sleep with an uncooperative body clock, I headed out on a walk.
It was at the start that I chanced apon this picture. The sun was beginning to hit the cold ground, creating the layers of mist and the sunbeams breaking through the trees. Needless to say, I didn't continue walking. I must have only been there for short while, but only a couple of minutes later the whole scene had completely changed.
